Czech Republic and Luxembourg are bottom of class when it comes to transposing European directives

Brussels, 14/02/2008 (Agence Europe) - On Thursday 14 February, the European Commission presented its half-yearly scoreboard analysing member state delays in transposing Community law into national law. Results show that the Czech Republic and Luxembourg are lagging seriously behind. “The Czech Republic has a deficit three times as high as the average EU deficit.
