14/02/2008 (Agence Europe) - The European Commission decided on Wednesday 13 February to initiate proceedings before the European Court of Justice in view of Italy's failure to comply with the Commission's decision of 21 February 2007 ordering it to recover €98.36 million worth of illegal and incompatible state aid granted by the region of Sardinia to the mining company Nuova Mineraria Silius SpA.
