19/11/2007 (Agence Europe) - On Monday 19 November, the Council of Ministers of the EU adopted a decision on the acceptance by the European Community of the protocol amending the agreement on trade-related aspects of intellectual property rights (TRIPS) in the pharmaceutical sector. This protocol was established on 6 December 1995 and aims to find a swift solution to the possible difficulties WTO members could have (with insufficient or no manufacturing capacity in the pharmaceutical sector)...
