15/11/2007 (Agence Europe) - In a statement published on 14 November, the EU expressed its “deep concern” over the announcement of the imminent execution of Mohammed Reza Tork, who was sentenced to death by a Hamdam court in Iran for a crime allegedly committed when he was 16. The EU has asked the Islamic Republic of Iran to immediately halt the sentence and to have the case reviewed by the appropriate instances. (A.B.)
