Brussels , 15/10/2007 (Agence Europe) - Adopting an own initiative opinion at its October plenary by Istvan Sertoo-Radics (Hungary, ALDE), Mayor of Uszka and Vice-President of the CoR's foreign relations committee, on local and regional government in Ukraine and extending cooperation between the EU and Ukraine, the Committee of Regions (CoR) calls 'for the quick conclusion of bilateral agreements between Ukraine and bordering EU member states to implement a local border traffic scheme.'
