15/10/2007 (Agence Europe) - Meeting in Berlin on 5 and 6 October as part of the seventh inter-Parliamentary meeting on renewable energy, more than 60 members of the European Parliament and the national parliaments, led by MEPs Mechtild Rothe (PES, Germany) and Claude Turmes (Greens, Luxembourg) adopted a declaration containing specific demands, calling on the European Commission to table a “strong, clear and ambitious” proposed legislative framework for the development of renewable energies.
