Social policy and climate change on agenda of next EU/Latin America and Caribbean summit

Brussels, 15/10/2007 (Agence Europe) - Meeting in Lisbon on 9 and 10 October, senior officials of the European Union, Latin American and Caribbean countries prepared the Vth EU/Latin America and Caribbean summit scheduled to be held in Lima from 14 to 17 May 2008. The two main areas of discussion will be: - the fight against poverty and inequality, and social insertion; - and the environment, climate change and energy policy.
