Results from informal Lisbon summit, EU budget for 2008, pesticides and Turkish progress on accession at centre of October plenary in Strasbourg

Brussels, 15/10/2007 (Agence Europe) - This month the European Parliament will be meeting in plenary session in Strasbourg on Monday 22 October and Thursday 25 October. The main points in the session agenda include: a debate on the results of the informal Lisbon summit of 18-19 October, votes in the first reading on the EU's 2008 budget, a common discussion on new rules on pesticides and phyto-pharmaceutical products and declarations from the European Commission and Council on Turkey's EU...
