20/09/2007 (Agence Europe) - On Thursday 20 September, the European Commission cleared the planned acquisition of Spanish company Ecotecnica (Societa Cooperativa Catalana Limitada) by ALSTOM Espana IB, S.L., a subsidiary of French company ALSTOM S.A., itself controlled by the Bouygues group (construction, telecoms and media). ALSTOM manufactures equipment and provides services in the energy generation and rail transport industries. Ecotecnica is active in the wind-farm infrastructure...
