20/09/2007 (Agence Europe) - On Tuesday 18 September, Justice Commissioner Franco Frattini said that it was still “premature” to consider retaliatory measures against Canada, which still requires nationals from eight EU member states to have a visa to enter the country (see EUROPE 9503). The Commission will assess the progress by Canada and other countries when it presents its next report on visa reciprocity on 30 June 2008.
