Günter Verheugen to be in Moscow on 16 July to discuss strengthened economic relations

Brussels, 13/07/2007 (Agence Europe) - Industry Commissioner Günter Verheugen is to be in Moscow on 16 July to discuss EU/Russia economic relations. His visit comes at a time when trade and investment between the EU and Russia are booming, the Commission stresses in a press release. Mr Verheugen will encourage Russian authorities to step up their efforts to settle outstanding bilateral issues to accede to the World Trade Organisation (WTO) (for state of progress in this respect, see EUROPE...
