HUF 13 billion counter-guarantee to Hiltelgarancia for municipalities' projects - Loan to support research and innovation

Luxemburg, 13/07/2007 (Agence Europe) - The European Investment Bank (EIB) has just signed to “innovative” operations with Hungarian partners. Firstly, it granted Hiltelgarancia a counter-guarantee of 13 billion forints (HUF) (around €52 million) for projects carried out by local authorities. Secondly, it granted a loan of €165 million to help implement the 2005-2007 investment programme of the Hungarian Research and Technology Innovation Fund (KPI). The HUF 13 billion...
