13/07/2007 (Agence Europe) - The European Parliament's agriculture committee will proceed, on Monday 16 July, to the election of a new vice-president to replace Socialist Jean-Claude Fruteau, who joined the benches of the French National Assembly last month. Unless there is an unexpected change, the only candidate proposed by the PES, Bernadette Bourzai of France, will succeed Mr Fruteau. (lc)
