Brussels, 04/06/2007 (Agence Europe) - On Monday 4 June, the European Commission adopted a proposal for autonomous Community tariff quotas for a number of fisheries products. The proposal, which covers the period 2007-2009 seeks to facilitate imports from third countries to supply the EU processing industry with raw material in order to maintain its competitiveness.
