€21 million from Interim Aid Mechanism to fund Palestinian public services

Brussels, 02/05/2007 (Agence Europe) - On Wednesday 2 May, the European Commission announced that it has granted €21 million in aid for Palestinian public services from the Interim Aid Mechanism (IAM). This mechanism was established by the international community to get round the boycott announced the day after the Palestinian government, led by Hamas, came to power.
