Civil Service Tribunal awards damages to an official for emotional stress caused during an anti-fraud investigation

Luxemburg, 02/05/2007 (Agence Europe) - The Civil Service Tribunal has found that the former head of the European Commission's representation in France, Jean-Louis Giraudy, suffered emotional stress through the actions of the Commission during the OLAF investigation into alleged fraud at the Avignon and Vaucluse Maison de l'Europe (France) (see EUROPE 8993).
