Solana invited to Arab summit in Riyadh: believes that “window of opportunity” is opening in favour of negotiated regulation between Israel and its Arab neighbours

Riyadh, 28/03/2007 (Agence Europe) - The Arab summit to be held this Wednesday and Thursday in Riyadh will be “very important” says High Representative for the CFSP Javier Solana, who figures on the list of guests expected in the Saudi capital. “We expect that a meeting of the (international - Ed) Quartet will be held in the region soon and, if possible, another will bring in the Arab Quartet”, Mr Solana told journalists on the trip to Riyadh.
