Brussels, 27/03/2007 (Agence Europe) - On Tuesday, the Commission granted clearance to the acquisition of sole control of Dailycer BV of the Netherlands, Dailycer France SAS and Dailycer Limited of the UK, which manufacture and sell cereal products and chocolate decorations, by OEP Holding Corporation (OEP) part of the JP Morgan Chase Group of the US.
The Groupe Arnault, the French holding company specialising in luxury products (with Christian Dior Couture and LVMH among its subsidiaries) received approval for its proposed acquisition of Go Voyages SA of France, an online travel agency specialising in the sale of airline tickets.
Also in the travel sector, sole control of Thomas Cook AG, the German subsidiary of the international tourism company active in the leisure travel sector, will be taken by KarstadtQuelle AG, which is a European department store and mail order group. Both companies are German.
All three operations were examined under the simplified merger review procedure. (cd)
