Olli Rehn appeals to European unity to support Martti Ahtisaari's “realistic” compromise on status of Kosovo

Brussels, 22/03/2007 (Agence Europe) - On Wednesday, the enlargement commissioner, Olli Rehn, expressed the view that “European unity is at the heart of the decision on the future status of Kosovo”. The only possibility he can see is a resolution by the UN Security Council, after discussion, on the final proposal by Martti Ahtisaari.
