Graham Watson wants weekly plenary meetings

Brussels, 22/03/2007 (Agence Europe) - The leader of the ALDE Group at the European Parliament, Graham Watson, proposed during a meeting of the EP working group on institutional reform, on Thursday, that the EP should meet in plenary “almost every Wednesday” to be briefed on the results of the weekly meeting of the European Commission and to hear declarations by the Council of Ministers on topical issues.
