Neelie Kroes to approve French regional aid maps for 2007-2013 on Wednesday

Brussels, 06/03/2007 (Agence Europe) - At a meeting with French Planning Minister Christian Estrosi last month, EU Competition Commissioner Neelie Kroes said she would be approving the French regional aid map for 2007-2013 in the near future. She is expected to give the go-ahead on Wednesday 7 March.

France has respected the new regional aid guidelines for 2007-2013, adopted by the European Commission in December 2005, but has decided to prioritise the zones eligible for Structural Funding,...
