19/02/2007 (Agence Europe) - On 12 February in Brussels, the EU Council approved three new specific instruments for the period 2007-2013: - the programme on the prevention, preparation and management of the consequences of terrorist attack and other security risks, with a budget of €140 million; - the programme on preventing and combating crime, with an overall budget of €600 million; - and the criminal justice programme with a budget of around €196 million.
