Loan for research, development and innovation in Finnish and Swedish forest industry

Luxemburg, 30/01/2007 (Agence Europe) - The European Investment Bank (EIB) has just lent €140 million for investment in research, development and innovation carried out by the Stora Enso Group, the world's largest producer of forestry products. This funding will support the Stora Enso Group's investment in research activities and technological development between 2005 and 2008 in its pulp and paper mills, and in dedicated research centres in Imatra in Finland and Karlstad and Falun in...
