30/01/2007 (Agence Europe) - On Monday EU High Representative for the CFSP Javier Solana, appointed Michael Matthiessen from Denmark, as his new personal representative for parliamentary affairs. Matthiessen, who up to now has been Mr Solana's representative on human rights issues (now replaced by Riina Kionka from Estonia) will be in charge of relations with the European Parliament in Common Foreign and Security Policy (CFSP) and European Security and Defence Policy (ESDP) areas.
