11/12/2006 (Agence Europe) - On 11 December the Council approved, without debate, its common position on the revised draft regulation on public passenger transport services by rail and road. On 9 June the Transport Council reached a political agreement on the dossier to open up this sector to further competition (EUROPE 9208). (dt)
