Brussels, 11/12/2006 (Agence Europe) - Speaking to the press after the second meeting of the EU-Russia Permanent Partnership Council on energy in Moscow last Friday (EUROPE 9324), the Russian Energy Minister, Viktor Khristenko, raised the hopes of the Europeans by stating that "it is possible that (foreign) partners may be included in the development of the Shtokman project in various forms, such as the executors of major parts of the project and also as potential participants".
