Presidency proposes to follow broad thrust of strategy put forward by Commission - debate in European Council

Brussels, 11/12/2006 (Agence Europe) - On Monday, alongside the Turkish issue (see preceding article), EU foreign ministers held an exchange of views on the Finnish Presidency's draft conclusions for the European Council on Thursday and Friday (14-15 December), in particular on the EU enlargement strategy and its “absorption capacity”.
