Commission launches consultation procedure on possible applications of future European satellite navigation system

Brussels, 06/12/2006 (Agence Europe) - The European Commission is due to adopt the Green Paper on future applications of Galileo, the European satellite navigation system. The aim is to launch a discussion on what the public sector can do to create an appropriate policy and legal framework to support the development of applications of the system, once it is fully operational.
