21/11/2006 (Agence Europe) - Hhilda Tchoboian, President of the European Armenian Federation for Justice and Democracy, welcomes in a press release the adoption of the EU Neighbourhood Policy's Armenia Action Plan, which was signed on November 14 by the Armenian Minister of Foreign Affairs, Vartan Oskanian. The EU thus “takes note of the European aspirations expressed by Armenia”, the Federation states, above all welcoming the decision to create a European information centre in Erevan. It also welcomes the EU's enhanced support for the OSCE Minsk Group, which is seeking to mediate a solution to the Karabakh conflict, and the EU's intention to development participation by Armenian students in the TEMPUS and YOUTH programmes, and to “promote the Armenian cultural heritage in Europe”.
