21/11/2006 (Agence Europe) - On 23 November, at the IST 2006 conference in Helsinki, Finland, CORDIS and IST Results will hold a workshop on disseminating research results. The interactive workshop will address the following issues: - How can dissemination be improved to stimulate better exploitation of information and communication technologies (ICT) research and results in the emerging European marketplace, - How to use existing media platforms, overcome the challenges and allow ICT projects to reach a wider community; - The role of the European Technological Platforms for an effective dissemination and exploitation of EU-funded research by the business community and policy makers. The workshop will be moderated by Richard Hudson, CEO and Editor of ScienceBusiness.net, and will include panellists from European projects, a European Technology Platform, and journalists.
