21/11/2006 (Agence Europe) - On 20 November the European Central Bank (ECB) third progress report on TARGET2, whose progress, according to the Frankfurt institution in a press release, is well advanced. The go-live date of the single shared platform for TARGET2 was set for 19 November 2007. It sets out the transition to a single tariff structure as part of Eurosystem domestic and cross-border payments, as well as a level of harmonised service. Two other dates (18 February and 19 May 2008) have been set out, after which all central banks and TARGET users will have migrated to TARGET2. (ab)
