Commission, WWF and European economists join forces to call for tougher emissions quotas for 2008-2012

Brussels, 09/11/2006 (Agence Europe) - Acting on behalf of the European Commission, EU Environment Commissioner Stavros Dimas signed up on 9 November to a WWF statement signed by more than four dozen renowned EU economists calling for a continuing and strengthening of the European Emission Trading Scheme.
