German and French EPP-ED members criticise Commission report, Socialists call for patience and Greens say commitments should be respected

Brussels, 09/11/2006 (Agence Europe) - MEPs were divided over the European Commission's report on Turkey (EUROPE 9302 on the report and comments by MEPs Eurlings and Lagendijk).

At the EPP-ED group, the reaction of German MEPs was very negative.
