08/11/2006 (Agence Europe) - The Committee of Permanent Representatives of the EU (Coreper) gave its approval on 8 November for a decision to sign and apply a provisional horizontal aviation agreement between the Community and Australia. This involves an agreement incorporating the bilateral aviation agreements between Australia and several EU Member States, with the aim of making them comply with Community law. The Council will then have to adopt this decision. (dt)
