17/10/2006 (Agence Europe) - The European Investment Bank (EIB) has just decided to grant a loan of €12.5 million to Albania to support the first phase (running from 2007 until 2010) of the National Education Strategy, developed for the period 2004-2015. EIB funds will finance an improvement of the quality of learning conditions, contribute to an increase in enrolment in general secondary education and ensure better governance in the higher education sector.
