Council formalises political agreement on financial instrument for development cooperation with envelope of €17bn for 2007-13

Luxembourg, 17/10/2006 (Agence Europe) - The way is finally open to adopt a legal framework that will enable the EU to spend the €17bn programmed for development cooperation in the Community budget for 2007-13.
