EU set to limit quantity of liquid transportable by air passengers

Brussels, 13/09/2006 (Agence Europe) - The Commissioner responsible for transport Jacques Barrot on 13 September announced that he had presented to the College “the bases” of a legislative proposal to enhance air security, following the meeting of the Aviation Security Regulation Committee of 6 and 7 September (EUROPE 9261). These measures would aim to: - restrict the quantity of liquids transportable buy passengers on board airplanes, while still taking account of their needs....
