Brussels, 08/09/2006 (Agence Europe) - The European Economic and Social Committee (EESC) prize for the organised civil society will be officially awarded in Brussels on 13 September at the Committee's plenary session. Meeting on 29 August under the chairmanship of Anne-Marie Sigmund, the selection panel unanimously chose three winners for the 2006 edition, the theme of which was: “European identity as an essential cultural element for European integration”.
