Strasbourg, 07/09/2006 (Agence Europe) - On Thursday the European Parliament adopted a resolution on the Middle East in which it deplored the extent and intensity of the conflict in the Lebanon and called on the Council of the EU to attempt to reunify an international conference on peace a, on the lines of the Madrid conference of 1991, in search of a sustainable and viable solution to the problems of the region, by highlighting the involvement of the Arab League.
