Brussels, 07/09/2006 (Agence Europe) - The European Commission has cleared the proposed take-over of Foster Yeoman (a privately-owned heavy building materials group) by Aggregate Industries, a subsidiary of the Holcim Group (Switzerland), both of the UK. According to the Commission, the operation will not impede competition on markets outside the United Kingdom, on which it has given its opinion.
