07/09/2006 (Agence Europe) - The European Commission has granted clearance to the acquisition of sole control of Pizza Hut UK Limited (Pizza Hut) by Yum! Restaurant Holdings (Yum) of the UK. Pizza Hut UK manages and operates the Pizza Hut chain of informal restaurants in the UK. The operation was examined under the simplified merger review procedure.
