Franco Frattini unveils child protection measures - Call for a European Coordinator

Strasbourg, 07/09/2006 (Agence Europe) - After a 'Family and Child Protection' Intergroup meeting in Strasbourg on 6 September, Marie Panayotopoulos-Cassiotou (EPP/ED, Greece) and Franco Frattini, EU Justice and Home Affairs Commissioner, presented several new EU child protection measures to the media. The measures are part of initiatives to be unveiled in a special European Commission report adopted at the beginning of July.
