07/09/2006 (Agence Europe) - On 8 September the Committee of Permanent Representatives of the EU (Coreper) is expected, in principle, to adopt, without debate, a draft decision for the signing and provisional application of the agreement between the Community and Paraguay on certain aspects of aviation services. This involves a horizontally aviation agreement that aims to incorporate bilateral aviation agreements between Paraguay and several Member States of the EU with the aim of getting them to comply with Community law. The Council will then formally adopt the proposal, probably during the General Affairs and External Relations session on 15 September.
