EP welcomes signing of Stabilisation and Association Agreement with Albania

Strasbourg, 06/09/2006 (Agence Europe) - On 6 September, the European Parliament adopted a legislative resolution on the draft decision concerning the signing, on 12 June, of a Stabilisation and Association Agreement between the European Union and Albania. Albania is the third western Balkan country to sign such an agreement, following the Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia (FYRM) and Croatia.
