Brussels, 07/07/2006 (Agence Europe) - In Helsinki on 26 June, a delegation of trade union leaders headed by John Monks, General Secretary of the European Trade Union Confederation (ETUC) and Candido Mendez, the ETUC President, handed Finnish prime minister Matti Vanhanen a 'Trade Union Memorandum to the Finnish Presidency of the European Union' outlining key ETUC demands on the new Presidency, encouraging investment in innovation and technology across Europe (following Finland's example) to...
