03/07/2006 (Agence Europe) - The European Commission has cleared the proposed take-over by Sonae Indústria of Portugal of the German company Hornitex, both manufacturers and sellers of fibreboards. The Commission's showed that that the new entity would continue to face a number of effective competitors in the EU market, with no risk of overlapping. The impact should not effect customers' access to necessary raw materials.
