03/07/2006 (Agence Europe) - Finn Antii Peltomäki has been appointed Head of European Commission Representation in Finland, with effect from 1st July. He replaces Paavo Mäkinen, who will continue as Deputy Head of Representation in Helsinki. Marjatta Hautala will remain as Press Officer. Mr Peltomäki was previously State Secretary at the Government Secretariat for EU Affairs in the Finnish Prime Minister's Office.
