Solidarity has to benefit all of Europe's regions, says Jacques Delors

Brussels, 29/06/2006 (Agence Europe) - Cohesion policy, and the structural funds largely financing it, have to be of benefit to all the regions of he European Union and not only to the regions of the new Member States. Such was the call made by former Commission president Jacques Delors on Wednesday at a seminar on the reform of the structural funds organised by the Party of European Socialists (PES) in Brussels, on 28-29 June.
