Brussels, 06/06/2006 (Agence Europe) - The European Central Bank (ECB) has decided on its Governing Council meetings in 2007. The eighteen Governing Council members will continue to meet on the first and third Thursday of the month. The first monthly meeting will look at monetary policy in the eurozone and the second on other ECB work and Eurosystem. All Governing Council meetings next year bar two will be held in the ECB's Frankfurt-am-Main headquarters in Germany. The 10 May meeting will be held in Dublin, Ireland, and the 4 October meeting will be held in Vienna, Austria. The meetings next year at which eurozone interest rate decisions may be taken will be held on 11 January; 8 February, 8 March, 12 April, 10 May, 6 June, 5 July, 6 September, 4 October, 8 November, 6 December and 10 January 2008.
