Five EU financing institutions adopt European Principles for the Environment

Luxembourg, 06/06/2006 (Agence Europe) - To promote sustainable development and to protect and improve the environment, five European Multilateral Financing Institutions (MFIs), namely the European Investment Bank, the Council of Europe Development Bank, the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, the Nordic Environment Finance Corporation and the Nordic Investment Bank, agreed on 30 May on a common approach to environmental management associated with the financing of projects....
